Bob oversees delivery of the innovative, high-performance solutions that enable the company’s Dayton area clients to meet today’s increasingly demanding energy and other facilities challenges. Responsible for all branch operations, he manages proposal, estimate and bid preparation; coordinates and deploys the company’s administrative and technical teams; and monitors project schedules, quality and costs. A participant in local union relations activities, he also screens and field-tests suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their ability to provide consistently high-quality support services. Backed by expert and responsive resources, Bob’s long-term customer relationships are based on his office’s ability to help clients continuously improve their buildings’ comfort, productivity and energy-efficiency.
Expertise
Bob joined EMCOR in 2000 and played a vital role in the quick start-up and rapid growth of DeBra-Kuempel’s Dayton branch. His outstanding leadership abilities and technical skills have been instrumental in the success of such major area projects as the Central State Natural Science Building, Clark State Learning Resource Center, Clinton Massie High School, the Fort Piqua (Orr-Statler) Hotel renovation, Sinclair College Learning Resource Center and the Wright State Biological Science Building.
Bob holds an associate in science degree in industrial engineering from Sinclair College and a bachelor’s in technical education from the University of Cincinnati. He has also completed a four-year journeyman pipefitter/plumber apprenticeship with UA Local 162 and attended estimating, Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) and Trane seminars. Certified in Ohio as a notary public, he holds Ohio heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), hydronics, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical licenses.
Bob has been an adjunct professor at Sinclair College, where he taught construction management and HVAC. He has also helped inmates in the Montgomery County Jail learn the fundamentals of the mechanical-electrical trade.
The Personal Side
Bob and his wife, Bonnie, are active church leaders. Holder of a master’s degree in biblical studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Bob has taught adult Bible classes for more than 17 years. He is also vice president of the Vandalia Butler School Board.
