Bill ensures the company's ability to provide consistently fast, responsive, high-quality service. He and his team of nearly 200 people, including over 150 service technicians, install and maintain a wide array of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation and other facilities systems. He is also responsible for managing overhead, including the company's large fleet of fully stocked service vans. In addition, he oversees service sales operations, ensures fulfillment of the company's maintenance contract obligations and helps build the long-term customer relationships that come only with continuously outstanding customer care.

 

Expertise

Bill has over 30 years of experience servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and other mechanical equipment. Following two years of technical training, he worked as a mechanical equipment serviceman for Technical Services and other firms. During this time, he was the lead service technician on several large commercial and industrial projects, including Cinergy's East Bend Power Plant.

 

In 1987, he joined DeBra-Kuempel as a service technician, designing and installing direct digital control (DDC) systems for several large operations, such as Sun Chemical's Spring Grove Avenue facility. In 1991, the company promoted him to account manager. In this position, he was responsible for service and maintenance at multiple accounts, and for implementation of various campus-wide facilities maintenance programs. In 1999, he became director of service with operations management responsibility. He took his present post in 2001.

 

Bill holds an associate degree in electronic engineering from Northern Kentucky University and a heating and air conditioning technical degree from Northern Kentucky State Vocational Technical School. He is also a journeyman mechanical equipment serviceman with HVAC and electrical master's licenses in Kentucky, Texas, South Carolina and Mississippi. He is an active member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Pendleton County Planning Commission.

 

The Personal Side

Bill is married and has three children. In addition to being a part-time beef cattle farmer, he enjoys deep-sea fishing.
