Gary oversees delivery of consistently responsive mechanical services for much of downtown Cincinnati’s service market, as well as various telecommunications and industrial accounts. In addition to his own team, consisting of a service manager, service administrator and 8-to-15 field technicians, he oversees the firm’s chiller, plumbing service and predictive maintenance groups. His responsibilities include hiring sub-contractors, maintaining quality controls, invoicing customers and identifying new business opportunities. His attention to clients’ requirements and ability to adapt to their ever-changing needs results in the kind of expert professional customer care required in today’s tough competitive environment.

Expertise

Gary has spent more than 30 years in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) installation and service industry. Before joining DeBra-Kuempel, he worked at NSG, Inc. for 15 years. After five years as a chief engineer and assistant property manager for the Kroger Company’s 25-story high-rise office tower, he moved up to general manager of the mechanical and electrical divisions, a position he held for the next 10 years. He joined DeBra-Kuempel in 1996 as an account manager and became a senior account manager two years later.

Gary holds an associate degree in air conditioning technology from Cincinnati State College. An active member of the Association of Facilities Engineering, he also holds a State of Ohio HVAC certificate, a universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refrigerant certificate and a Building Owners and Managers Association Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation. In addition, he has participated in numerous management training courses and technical programs.

The Personal Side

Gary and his wife have eight children, six boys and two girls. In addition to his family, he enjoys photography, golf, camping and fishing.
